With 19 years of experience in education, I have successfully collaborated with students and educators in both K-12 and higher education to integrate technology and provide professional development that fosters continuous learning growth. Additionally, as an Independent Contractor with Instructure, the parent company of Canvas, I facilitate the Canvas Certified Educator and Technical Admin programs. I also provide training to clients nationwide.
I approach education with the mindset of “teaching in a beta state”. The idea of beta testing, the final round of testing completed by end users before a product is released to a broad audience, intrigues me in how it can relate to teaching. As educators, we try new ideas every day; adapting, pivoting, and modifying to do what is best for our learners. We live in a constant beta state.
