3. Free Accessibility Icons
I am a big fan of anything related to visual design – fonts, colors, layouts, and even icons! I subscribe to The Noun Project’s newsletter and yesterday they announced a new collection of 25 icons dedicated to accessibility and inclusive design that have been donated to the public domain, free for everyone to use! How cool is that!
According to their blog post, “The Noun Project joined forces with Disability:IN, the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide, the School of Visual Arts MFA Interaction Design Program, and Canva, one of the world’s best-known tools for design and publishing, to host an Iconathon community design workshop dedicated to creating new icons that help fill critical content gaps around accessibility and inclusion”. I love that they partnered with these other organizations for an end product!
