After a little break, Weekly Finds is back and I have been collecting some great finds over the last couple of weeks and am eager to share!
1. 90-Day Instructional Coach Plan
A few Instructional Technology Coaches I know in surrounding counties (and perhaps beyond) got together and created this plan for new instructional coaches. I haven’t gone through it thoroughly yet, but I’ve heard good things.
2. 10 Amazing Updates for Teachers using Google
Towards the end of the year, Google updated or added some features that you might have missed depending on when your year ended. Check out this video, from the amazing Sethi De Clercq who runs the Flipped Classroom Tutorials channel on YouTube:
3. EDU Coaching Resources
As a Tech Coach, I’m always looking for resources and Tisha at Wakelet delivered! She created a collection of EDU Coaching Resources that includes tips for new coaches, goal setting in coaching, books, and other resources.
4. Avoiding Plagiarism
This is a great flowchart to help students work through how they are using text, quotes, and citations in their research. This is definitely something I would have posted in a classroom! Check out the link in the tweet below to get access to an accessible PDF version of the flowchart too!
5. Flipgrid…is now FLIP!
I attended the FlipFest back at the end of June and just about flipped when I heard the news. Not only is there a new name, but LOTS of new features too! Check out this blog post entitled Introducing Flip and see what other apps Flip integrates with below:
